Born in Male', Maldives, Faiz's interest in art began early in life.​ His artistic journey began with a solid foundation in art in his early years, studying art in Majeediyya School. His own style of impressionism, pays tribute to the beauty and culture of the Maldives, portraying it's culture, tranquility and the changing lifestyles and infrastructure of Male' city and the islands.

Using loose, expressive brush strokes, and vivid colors, he brings seascapes, landscapes and lively city streets to life, with a sense of vibrance.

It is his hope that his paintings, whether displayed in private collections or exhibited in galleries, serve as reminders of the profound beauty of Maldives and it's unique culture.
