Nala Dhivehi Raajje

 

In November 2024, Faiz held his first solo exhibition overseas, Nala Dhivehi Raajje, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The exhibition, held in conjunction with the Maldives High Commission in Sri Lanka on November 11th, the Republic Day of the Maldives, showcased a collection of Maldivian seascapes, coastal scenes, and island landscapes, alongside new works inspired by the vibrant nature and rich culture of Sri Lanka. It gave Sri Lankans an opportunity to engage with Faiz’s art and the exhibition was also attended by many from the Maldivian community in Sri Lanka

 

With his impressionist style, Faiz brought color, light, and emotion to his work, inviting viewers to experience the beauty, heritage, and memories of both island nations. This exhibition was a meaningful milestone in his journey as a solo artist, sharing the landscapes and cultural heritage that continue to inspire him with an international audience.
